1. Fort Worth Stockyards

< 1 hour from Dallas

Embrace true Western culture with a day trip from Dallas to Fort Worth. Watch the famous twice-daily cattle drive at 11:30 a.m. or 4 p.m., visit Sundance Square to shop, or dance the night away at Billy Bob’s! 

2. Lavender Ridge Farms

1 hour 20 minutes from Dallas

Located in Gainesville, Lavender Ridge Farms allows guests to handpick their own lavender and shop for handmade lavender products like soaps and candles. Enjoy the farm cafe and try their lavender lemonade or ice cream to top off the experience. 

3. Waco, Texas
