As Thanksgiving approaches, many of us brace ourselves for dinner, hoping to avoid the classic family meltdown. If you’ve ever found yourself in the middle of the chaos at the family feast, you are not alone! From exotic side dishes your aunt thought she could cook to the burnt turkey your grandmother forgot to take out of the oven or your uncle who won’t stop talking about conspiracy theories, anything could happen. At least now we’re adults and don’t have to finish all the soggy vegetables from the casserole no one wants to touch. Students will have the opportunity to address the speakers with questions to explore more about the fields of agency, corporate, government, and financial communications.

SMU’s move to the ACC in July created a lot of buzz amongst SMU’s student body. Joining this conference has allowed SMU’s sports programs to play against more intense competition. This new competition will increase the team’s chances of becoming nationally ranked. This academic year, SMU’s football and basketball teams will face nationally recognized college programs including Duke and The University of Miami.
