CCPA Lounge Renovation Project in Umphrey Lee: A Collaborative Space 

At the beginning of the school year, Southern Methodist University unfolded the CCPA lounge renovation project in the Umphrey Lee building. Many students have noticed the exciting blue wall displaying “Southwest Airlines” and the large glass windows when passing through Umphrey Lee. While the lounge still awaits final design touches, it is open for students and faculty to enjoy.

The Hotel Lawrence, Downtown Dallas

Now called the La Quinta Inn & Suites, the Hotel Lawrence in downtown Dallas is home to restless and spooky spirits. Constructed in 1925, the hotel has been a Dallas staple. While hauntings are reported all around the hotel including the lobby and second floor, the most haunted area is the 10th floor of the hotel, specifically Room 1009.
