Greetings, dear students, during a spring break like no other!

  • Campus is officially on “reduced operations” meaning only essential personnel (upper administration, deans, facilities, and other operations) are expected to be on campus. The rest of us – including your faculty – are working remotely.

  • We’re getting up to speed to teach online starting Monday, March 23. We’ll be ready. Expect a few hiccups along the way but know we will make this work.

Podcast: Brie Strickland Talks Influencer Marketing and Shares Advice for the “Real World”

Brie graduated from SMU in 2014 with a CCPA major. She juggled two internships her spring semester senior year to land her a job at Southwest Airlines after graduation. After holding multiple positions within the company, Brie now finds herself managing influencer marketing for the airline. Today, we have Brie on air with us to hear her story, learn from her advice, and hear how we can end up in her shoes down the road!

Homecoming brought together multiple generations of SMU Mustangs to celebrate their alma mater. For CCPA majors and alumni alike, the weekend’s festivities started with the Owen Fine Arts Center renovation kickoff. To end the night, alumni caught up with college friends and professors at the CCPA alumni happy hour.
