In the heart of the downtown arts district, the Dallas Art Fair offers collectors, arts professionals, and the public the opportunity to engage with a rich selection of modern and contemporary artworks presented by leading national and international galleries. They are currently taking applications for the upcoming fair.
Role Description
We are seeking organized and energetic candidates who are ready to take on a variety of positions in the production of the Dallas Art Fair. You must have excellent people skills and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The Dallas Art Fair is a great way to gain exposure to the multi facets of the art world and production of an art fair.
Responsibilities include:
- Front desk management
- Ticket sales
- Ability to handle phone calls, emails, and online communication
- Must have basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Exhibitor management
- Organize and manage work orders for gallery spaces
- Supportive tasks for install and deinstall
- Facilitate art storage.
- Facilitate and manage events
- On-site and off-site
- Courteously provides visitors with assistance, information, and directions as needed.
- May assist in the coat check area as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Availability
Intern candidate to work the week of the Fair, April 13-19. Hours are generally 8am-7pm, with some evenings.
