Arts Management Interns will have the opportunity to work with many different departments to gain an understanding of how a non-profit arts organization functions on a day-to-day basis. This internship is designed to allow a student to learn how they can leverage their skills and talents to pursue a career in the arts, and what options are available other than being a performer/artist.

Possible departments include:

  • Artistic Operations
  • Development
  • Education
  • Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact
  • Event/Venue Management
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Volunteer Services

Final scheduling is subject to department need and availability.

Interns will work 15-20 hours per week from June 5 to August 4 (dates and hours flexible and dependent upon school credit requirements). These positions will be primarily in-person with the potential for occasional remote work. This is a paid opportunity. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program.

Applicants should send a resume to recruiter2@dalsym.com and include the title of the internship in the subject line. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the available slots are filled. No phone calls, please.
