The Dallas Farmer’s Market is a great way to get outside and support local. Every Saturday and Sunday, vendors gather under the open air shed to sell their fresh produce, bakes, jewelry, and so much more. The Dallas Farmer’s Market is a must on our list of outdoor activities in Dallas this spring.
Go Strawberry Picking
Another great way to get outside and enjoy the spring weather is by going fruit picking! Dallas has several farms from which you can harvest your own fruit from berries, to tomatoes, to pumpkins. But Spring time means berries are the best fruit to harvest – so head on over to H Strawberry Farm or WOW U-Pick Farms to pick your own strawberries and/or other produce. Talk about bearing the fruits of your labor!
Light Up the Night Sky at the Sky Lantern Festival
A true sight to behold, the Dallas Lantern Festival will light up the night sky like no other on March 19th. Write down your hopes, wishes, and dreams for the future, place them in your lantern and watch as your lantern drifts up into the skies. And he evening evening is not only filled with lanterns, but s’mores and live music, as well. Invite a friend or family member and make a lasting memory together.

Head on over to Lavender Ridge Farms to immerse yourself in the relaxing scents of lavender. Lavender Ridge was once a strawberry farm, but has since become home to fields of lavender. Be sure to pick up some of their amazing lavender products while you’re there. And don’t forget to stop by the cafe for some lavender inspired dishes and desserts!
