If you are interested in applying for the CCPA Scholarship keep reading to see requirements and download the application. Since initially posting, some requirements have changed, but the due date remains the same. So get your application in before Friday, March 31st!
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time, declared CCPA major with minimum 3.000 cumulative GPA (GPA exceptions may be granted based on merit and/or need).
- Graduation date after August 2023.
- Application emailed by 5pm March 31, 2023
- Completion of a scholarship interview.
Required Application Materials:
- Completed application form endorsed by a CCPA faculty member.
- Copy of current financial overview sheet from my.smu.edu (instructions on application),
- Current DPR (Degree Progress Report) and resume.
- 1-2 page essay addressed to the CCPA Advisory Board Selection Committee sharing: 1) your major CCPA takeaways to date, 2) your career plans, and 3) how the scholarship funds will be used.
Download the below application, and submit it along with all supporting documents to Melissa Keene at mkeene@smu.edu by 5 pm, March 31st. All application materials must be submitted as a single PDF file by the deadline.
