Go to a Comedy Club
We could all probably use a good laugh right now. And going to a comedy club is a great way to get your mind off of things and enjoy some care-free time with friends. Dallas Comedy Club located on Elm street is a great option to get some laughs out. Hear from local comics, or attend one of their open mic nights if you’re wanting to try out some of your best jokes. Or you could just sit and watch as an overly confident newbie crashes and burns in front of an entire audience – both good options. Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub Dallas is also a great place to enjoy a night out. Check out their website for all their dates and showtimes.
Enjoy a Musical
This Tony award winning musical is coming to Dallas! Come From Away shares the true story of when 38 planes were diverted to Newfoundland, Canada after the September 11th attacks. The local community, unequipped for such large numbers of people, banned together to provide the passengers with the necessities and support they needed. This wonderfully crafted show depicts the beauty and strength that humanity has to offer, even in the worst of times. For ticket information, click here.
