Looking for a new off-campus study spot? Here are the three best places to visit
While SMU has six state-of-the-art libraries, sometimes changing your scenery and finding a new study spot off-campus is the way to go. Well, look no further – here are our picks for the three best places to study off-campus.
Foxtrot Market
Just a short walk from campus, Foxtrot Market has everything you need to get through a study grind; there’s a coffee bar, grab n’ go food options, and a relaxing atmosphere. Also, the store offers enough seating for your friends to come and cheer you on (because we all need the encouragement sometimes.)

Barnes and Noble (Lincoln Park)
A 5-minute drive from campus, this Barnes and Noble is the perfect place to finish that assignment you’ve been working on for what seems like forever. The store offers many study areas, which makes it one of the best places to study off-campus. While there, you can grab a seat at both the Starbucks cafe on the first floor and at reading nooks hidden between the bookshelves.
