At the beginning of the school year, Southern Methodist University unfolded the CCPA lounge renovation project in the Umphrey Lee building. Many students have noticed the exciting blue wall displaying “Southwest Airlines” and the large glass windows when passing through Umphrey Lee. While the lounge still awaits final design touches, it is open for students and faculty to enjoy. 

We are back for the third time, discussing the most haunted spots that you can visit. Now, we will be expanding the most haunted areas to all of Texas, giving you the spookiest and most bone-chilling spots where you can come face to face with a real ghost.

We are back again, with more spooky specters and ghastly ghouls just in time for Halloween! Here are more haunted locations that you can visit in North Texas.

The Hotel Lawrence, Downtown Dallas

Now called the La Quinta Inn & Suites, the Hotel Lawrence in downtown Dallas is home to restless and spooky spirits. Constructed in 1925, the hotel has been a Dallas staple. While hauntings are reported all around the hotel including the lobby and second floor, the most haunted area is the 10th floor of the hotel, specifically Room 1009. In 1947, Jack “Smalley” Jackson was murdered in that room. Another spirit that haunts the room is known as “Mr. Brookshire.” The numerous supernatural reports from the
