Dr. Earle is an accomplished social impact innovator with over 30 years of experience in large technology consultancies. After he successfully reinventing himself, Dr. Earle dedicates himself to empowering communities, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable solutions. With a Ph.D. in Public Affairs, Dr. Earle uses economic development, communication, and community engagement to unlock potential in underserved communities. He co-founded the Dallas Unity Fund LLC and Restorative Farms, which prioritize social impact. Earle’s extensive experience with Dallas nonprofits and social enterprises has been utilized as engaged learning opportunities for his students at SMU.
Restorative Farms is a community-based, urban farm system in South Dallas that provides fresh food access and job opportunities to the community. They aim to create a professionally-run, farm system that sells local vegetables, builds GroBoxes, and provides farming and entrepreneurial training. Restorative Farms believes that small-scale agriculture can be vital to local economic growth, environmental and health equity by addressing issues related to healthy produce, income generation, and leadership training. Ultimately, their goal is to break the poverty and resource drought cycle that has plagued their community for too long.
