ArtStar, based in New York City, is an online platform for discovering and collecting the best contemporary art. This company is looking for a Summer Research Intern focused on client prospecting from the residential, corporate, hospitality, and multi-family design industries. The internship can be conducted in-person in the New York City office or remotely.

The founder of ArtStar, Chrissy Crawford Corredor ’02, an alumna of Meadows and its Art History program, is intent on hiring a Meadows student for this role and will be conducting on-campus interviews in April before selecting an intern.

This internship will offer real-world experience on market research and in-depth knowledge of the leading design firms. We are asking for 3 days a week of remote or in-person work.

Summer Interns work directly with our CEO, CMO, Sales, and Social Media teams. In addition to the responsibilities listed above the intern will have a Summer Project. They will pitch their Project idea to the team, develop it over the summer, and present it at the end of the internship. The Intern will receive critical feedback and peer reviews. The goal is to provide our Intern a refined Project and deck to take to their next job interview. The Intern will take ownership over the Project and learn first-hand about working for a New York e-commerce gallery. Work on the Project will be done after hours and is not part of the paid Internship at ArtStar.
