Internships: L2 Companies Seeks Summer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst Intern to support our investment and operating teams.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to live deal execution, portfolio company analysis, and private equity strategy. You’ll work directly with L2’s Managing Partner and investment professionals across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support diligence efforts, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial benchmarking
• Assist in building and refining financial models (LBOs, DCFs, operating budgets, )
• Develop and enhance investor presentation materials and investment committee memos
• Conduct strategic industry research and data analysis across landscaping, robotics, construction, and tech-enabled services
• Track and synthesize information from company financials, operating metrics, and internal reports
• Assist with portfolio company reporting and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel proficiency required; PowerPoint and basic accounting knowledge a plus)
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience or coursework in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance preferred
• Passion for entrepreneurship, investing, and building companies
