Internships: Peace Love Mahjong Seeks Summer Intern

Peace Love Mahjong is looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Creative Operations Intern to join our team for the summer! This is a paid internship for a college student interested in gaining hands-on experience inside a growing product-based business. The role will support our designer/co-founder with a variety of creative and behind-the-scenes projects related to graphic design, website updates, product organization, and creative operations.

Describe Internship

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys design work, likes staying organized, and is excited to learn more about the day-to-day creative needs of a small business.

Projects may include:
• Assisting with graphic design projects in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Making edits and updates to existing design files
• Preparing and organizing production artwork and design assets
• Uploading and organizing website photos and graphics
• Photo editing and resizing images for web use
• Organizing product photos, Dropbox folders, and creative files
• Assisting with website updates and maintaining cohesive product imagery
• Researching product ideas, trends, and inspiration
• Helping with a variety of creative and organizational tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
• Experience in web design or Shopify
• Photography or photo editing experience

Details:
• Paid internship, $15–22/hour depending on experience
• Approximately 10–25 hours per week depending on availability and workload
• Flexible scheduling
• Combination of in-office and remote work
• Our office is located inside our retail shop in Lake Highlands in Dallas, TX

While there will be opportunities for collaboration and feedback, this role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently and helping with a wide variety of creative and organizational projects as needed.
