Bachman Lake Together is a Dallas-based organization that brings programs, partners, and resources to the Bachman Lake community, with a special focus on families with children under age 5. They help families access early education, become parent leaders, support overall well-being and engage the community.
Job Description
The Development Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all development efforts in support of the organization’s development goals and mission. Specifically securing a diversified range of funding sources to ensure long-term income sustainability from private foundations, corporations, and individual giving. This individual will be responsible for ensuring full utilization of the existing donor database and executing special fundraising events.
Also, the Development Director will oversee the execution and continuous improvement of the organization’s communications strategy to ensure Bachman Lake Together’s impact reaches a wide variety of audiences. The ideal candidate possesses a hybrid experience in communications, social media management, brand management, and marketing development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a development position, preferably in a non-profit
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Supervisory experience
