Need plans for this weekend? Come over to Flag Pole Hill Park for the annual celebration of Dallas’ own Oktoberfest!

Every fall, Dallas transforms into a Bavarian wonderland to host one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events—Oktoberfest Dallas. Whether you’re a fan of German beer, traditional food, or just looking to embrace a lively and vibrant atmosphere, this festival offers the perfect combination of entertainment and heritage. This year’s Oktoberfest Dallas will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Presented by the volunteers from the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, this family-friendly event will feature some of the best local bands, plenty of fun for the kids, and delicious restaurant offerings from brats to ice cream.

  • Adult entry fee is $25 per person all-day.
  • Kids ages 4-17 are $12 all-day.
  • Kids under 4 get in for free all-day.

Gates open at 10 AM, with events divided into the different areas of the park. Below is a schedule of what to find where! Be sure not to miss the Keg Tapping and Stein Holding Contest!

What Your Tickets to a Bavarian Experience Can Get You

The musical lineup consists of soulful, feel-good Texas country with Cory Morrow, a recreation of a live Taylor Swift concert with “Red – A Taylor Swift Tribute Band,” The Lab, Drew Cooper, and a student band from Lake Highlands School of Music (LHSM), Run for Cover.

Food vendors for the event include Cane Rosso, Aw Shucks Oyster Bar, Strouderosa BBQ, Burger Schmurger, and Cedar and Vine. Vendors will accept tickets sold at Oktoberfest Dallas ticket stands ($1 = 1 ticket). You can purchase tickets with cash or credit card., and no outside food or beverages are permitted.
