What’s a birthday celebration without an extravagant dinner surrounded by all of your favorite people? If you want to keep your 21st birthday dinner intimate with just your closest friends Monarch is the place to be. Be greeted by complimentary champagne, then take in the stunning 40th story high view of Downtown Dallas while fueling up for the big night ahead. Pro Tip: Monarch also has arguably the best espresso martinis in town to keep the party going all night. If you want dinner to be the main event of the night surrounded by all of your friends, Nick and Sam’s is the place for you. Enjoy the classic sparkling cotton candy tower as the cherry on top of a great meal.
The Pregame:
Don’t want your night to end at dinner? Hit the bars to keep the party rolling before the night really begins. Monkey Bar is a fan favorite with their signature margaritas, or indulge in a giant moscow mule at the Standard Pour.
The Main Event:
Like I mentioned before, I am an avid party girl, so the bars are just the pregame. There’s only one exception to this rule: IF your 21st birthday is a Thursday night and you’re not going to Homebar (The Green Elephant), I honestly have no idea what you’re doing. But if it’s not Thursday, it’s time to hit the clubs.
If you want a calmer vibe, Lounge 31’s private party room is the place for you. Enjoy an entire open bar to yourself with all your closest friends for the night. Bonus: at Lounge they also pass around h’or d’oeuvres. What’s better than cocktails and sushi?
However if you really want to go all out for your 21st, I’d recommend the back room of Candleroom. With a photo booth at entry, six VIP tables, bottle service, and your name in flashing LED lights, Candleroom is heaven on earth for a 21st celebration.
