They are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media and Communication Intern to join their small, socially minded entrepreneurial team. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communication strategies, social media management, and content creation. You will work closely with the founder to develop and execute engaging campaigns, boost brand awareness, and create compelling content that resonates with their target audience as they seek to advance economic mobility and foster investor-minded leaders in society. Responsibilities:

• Develop a communication strategy plan, and editorial calendar for an early-stage company.
• Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns.
• Assist in creating and managing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
• Conduct research and analyze social media trends and insights.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college program in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms and tools
• Ability to work independently and co-create with the founder
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• A desire to learn, growth and advance business and communication skills
• Talented, kind and humble who can work with others with ease.

Details:

• Ten (10) hours a week
• Some hours can be worked from home
• $15/hours
• Begins in February and runs through the semester.
