The Kimbell Art Museum offers paid, part-time internships to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates, who are interested in learning about museum practices and developing professional skills.
Internship positions are available in the following departments:
Summer, Spring, and Fall

Fall only
Spring and Fall only
Education, Marketing & Public Relations, and Library internships are open to undergraduate, graduate, and recent post-graduate students.
Registrar internships are open to graduate and recent post-graduate students only.
Conservation and Curatorial internships are open to graduate students only.
The Kimbell internship program is designed to mentor future museum professionals from diverse cultural, economic, social, and educational backgrounds.

Applicants must be able to pass a standard pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.

Interviews are required for finalists only. If you are selected as a finalist, we will contact you directly to set up an interview by phone or video conference.
There is no fee to apply to any of the internships.
