The Dallas Symphony Association seeks three (3) Arts Management Interns for the summer of 2023. Arts Management Interns will have the opportunity to work with many different departments to gain an understanding of how a non-profit arts organization functions on a day-to-day basis. This internship is designed to allow a student to learn how they can leverage their skills and talents to pursue a career in the arts, and what options are available other than being a performer/artist.
Final scheduling is subject to department need and availability.
Interns will work 15-20 hours per week from June 5 to August 4 (dates and hours flexible and dependent upon school credit requirements). These positions will be primarily in-person with the potential for occasional remote work. This is a paid opportunity. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program.
Applicants should send a resume to recruiter2@dalsym.com and include the title of the internship in the subject line. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the available slots are filled. No phone calls, please.
COVID-19 vaccination is mandated for all DSO employees, including a booster dose. Valid medical and religious exemptions are given in accordance with the law.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or genetic information. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
