The Communications Specialist (“CS”) is responsible for developing and managing all district communications in support of TBP’s mission. The CS is responsible for ensuring positive public relations, building TBP’s reputation for proactive and accurate communications, and cultivating and promoting a positive organizational culture that is in line with the values and mission of the District.
Duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of Communication and Enrollment (EDCE).
Summary Duty: Create, manage, and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan designed to meet or exceed communication objectives throughout the organization and specifically geared towards providing great customer service to all stakeholders.
Skills/Qualifications:
The Communications Manager must have and maintain an overarching passion for education and an unending desire to transform the mission of the school into a reality. The Communications Manager must demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate necessary information to TBP’s internal and external customers and must be dedicated to collaborating with other members of the organization to ensure stories of support and academic success at TBP are routinely written and communicated broadly to all TBP’s stakeholders.
