2025 CCPA Scholarship Application Period Open

If you are interested in applying for the CCPA Scholarship keep reading to see requirements and download the application. But don’t forget, the application period ends February 28, 2025.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

• Full-time, declared CCPA major with minimum 3.000 cumulative GPA (GPA exceptions may be granted based on merit and/or need).
• Application emailed by 5pm February 28, 2025.
• Completion of a scholarship interview. Interviews will take place the week of March 10th.

Required Application Materials:

• Completed application form endorsed by a CCPA faculty member.
• Copy of current financial overview sheet from my.smu.edu (instructions on application),
• Current DPR (Degree Progress Report).
• Current resume.
• 1-2 page essay addressed to the CCPA Advisory Board Selection Committee sharing: 1) your major CCPA takeaways to date, 2) your career plans, and 3) how the scholarship funds will help you.

Download the below application, and submit it along with all supporting documents to Melissa Austin at mkeene@smu.edu by 5 pm, February 28. All application materials must be submitted as a single PDF file by the deadline.
